Oh, please. Give me a break. Does post-everything existentialism excuse everything these days?
I don’t know – that’s not the point of the quote, for me. I just felt it captured the sense that I often have, as an adult, that I’m not “adult enough”, that I’m going to be found out. Observing this is not necessarily the same thing as using it to excuse anything else, I don’t think…
