Flatbush Ave. sounds really familiar. We're from Canarsie, I think that's close. My mom's family is West Indian American and they came when she was young, my dad's a straight New Yorker. I love how much of both cultures is there, you know? It's like a part of them but they don't live there anymore. Strange. Sounds like you had fun. Coney Island is dying!
