And there *is* a point where you want to know that you can shoulder through life on sheer willpower once you've tasted life without unhealthy anxiety. I'm shouldering right now and I hope it sticks this time. For you too. But I will say the one Michaelmas term I spent at Oxford was so stressful I was literally tearing my scalp off but at the same time, the whole experience and town was so surreal, so wonderful that it balanced out somehow. (unlike grad school). Chasing away anxiety when I could, early mornings at the Open Market one bleary coffee at a time. I'm glad I stumbled over your blog. :) I know that anxiety ( in fact, I know those pills).
